Anti-Static Brushes for Industrial Applications

The Kinetronics SWL-450 is a 450 mm antistatic brush equipped with an earthing cable and magnets, designed to effectively eliminate static charges during material processing for enhanced occupational safety and improved handling of highly charged materials. When working with plastic foil unwound from reels, static electricity tends to build up, attracting dust and contaminants that can compromise the quality or usability of the final product. 

The Kinetronics SWL-450 brushes, part of the Laminator series, counteract this issue by safely dissipating static charges to ground. This ensures the foil unwinds smoothly and remains free of static, resulting in a cleaner, higher-quality finish especially during lamination. The brushes feature ultrasoft synthetic fibers, making them suitable for all types of foil without causing scratches or damage. For best performance, it is recommended to install one brush each above and below the foil. The brushes can be easily mounted by clamping them directly onto laminating machinery between the machine frame jaws. Magnetic feet secure the brushes firmly in place by simply loosening screws included in the package. Each brush comes with a 3.5-meter grounding cable equipped with a cable lug for straightforward connection. The brushes should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 150°F. Beyond laminating machines, these brushes provide an effective solution wherever electrostatic problems arise. Custom lengths are available upon request.

The StaticWisk laminator brushes are available in nine standard sizes from 12" or 300mm to 84" or 2100mm.
