Billingham's Hadley One Midnight Edition comes with a matching SP20 Shoulder Pad featuring the same Blue Stitching as the bag. The Midnight Edition features Billingham's waterproof Black FIbreNyte material with stylish Blue Stitching and subtle hints of Blue Leather. Billingham's Black FibreNyte material is backed with a black lining fabric with the inserts and dividers to match.

A versatile, discreet camera bag with a dedicated 14inch laptop slip. Includes a half-width removable, padded insert for CSC kit or mid-sized DSLR, leaving half of the bag free for non-camera gear. Full width insert for larger gear is an optional extra. Made in England with 3-layer waterproof fabric and real leather.

DEDICATED PADDED LAPTOP SLIP
Sewn into the back of the bag is a dedicated padded laptop slip designed to fit a 14" MacBook Pro or similar size device.

Please be aware:
The padded laptop slip remains in the bag even if the padded camera insert is removed, a good thing if you don't always carry cameras.

Older or larger 14" devices may not fit, however almost all modern devices such as the 14" MacBook Pro (2021), 13.5" Surface Laptop 3, 13.5" Surface Laptop 4, ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 (14") etc will fit. Basically, if the laptop has thin bezels it will fit well. A device with large bezels might rise slightly above the padded area or might not fit at all. 
The 13" MacBook Pro, 13" MacBook Air and 13.6" MacBook Air of course fit great.
Almost all other 13" devices fit too.

PADDED INSERT LAYOUT OPTIONS
The bag comes with one 'Half Size Padded Insert' included, allowing you to use the other half of the bag for sandwiches, non-camera equipment or gear that doesn't need as much protection.

Not enough? You can purchase an optional second 'Half Size' insert or an optional 'Full Size' insert. The photo shows the 3 possible configurations. The rear, left side, right side and bottom of the bag have mild padding sewn in, therefore you can use the bag without padded inserts as a normal messenger bag.

INCLUDED HALF SIZE INSERT
The included Half Size Insert will allow you to carry a small-to-medium camera with lens attached (and maybe another spare lens stacked underneath). It can be fixed in on the left, right or centre of the bag.

1x horizontal flap divider is included and can be attached anywhere inside the insert with Velcro®.

FRONT DUMP POCKETS
Front dump pockets are perfect for cables, film, spare batteries and those little bits and bobs you want to keep separate. An additional loop in the fabric on the side of the front pockets are a deliberate design feature to allow clip on pens.

REAR ZIPPED POCKET
The back pocket has a weatherproof zip which is covered by a slim piece of leather, helping to protect important documents from rain or snow. The luggage trolley retainer strap is just below the opening to the back pocket.

QRS FRONT STRAPS AND SCULPTED TOP FLAP
The top-grain leather front straps have the 'Quick Release System' feature. Just slide the top of the strap up-and-off the brass clogball for instant access. The buckles allow you to fine tune the 'fit' of the front pockets. You don't need to use the buckles to open the bag. The sculpted top flap helps prevent rain, snow or unwanted fingers getting into the main compartment. It is made of the same 3-layer waterproof fabric as the rest of the bag.

REMOVABLE SHOULDER SLING
The Hadley One features a shoulder sling that can be adjusted longer or shorter to suit your height and shooting style. It can also be completely and easily removed in seconds if you would prefer to carry the bag using only its top handle. It is made from shuttle woven polyester and leather with solid brass fixings.

TOP HANDLE WITH LEATHER
An easy carry top handle with leather on the underside allows you to pick up and carry the bag with comfort, without using the shoulder sling. The handle is reinforced with fibreglass to reduce stress on the bag as you lift it.

ABILITY TO ADD AVEA END POCKETS
The strong leather side panels allow you to attach AVEA 7 End Pockets or AVEA 8 End Pockets for additional storage.  

HADLEY PRO 2020 VS HADLEY ONE

• The Hadley One is slightly larger in all dimensions.
• The Hadley One has a wider shoulder sling (50mm wide (2") vs 38mm wide (1½")).
• There is a dedicated, padded 14 inch laptop slip in the Hadley One.
• The Hadley Pro 2020 doesn't have this so any laptop or tablet would have to be placed behind the padded insert and only be protected on one side.
• The Hadley One comes with a Half Insert whereas the Hadley Pro 2020 comes with an insert that fills the main compartment.
• An optional full size insert can be purchased for the Hadley One.  
• Both bags have removable shoulder slings, rainproof zippers on the back and the newer design top-handle with leather underneath.

Billingham Bags come with a Manufacturer Warranty for a period of 10 Years from the date of purchase with the following terms and conditions.

• The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of the purchase and during the first 5 Years.
• The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty only comes into force if a proof of purchase is presented during the warranty period, you will have the right to have any manufacturing defect repaired free of charge.
• The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty is ONLY applicable to Billingham Bags purchased from Authorised Dealers within Australia.
• The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or deterioration as well as scratches or breakages due to physical damage, water or fire damage, loss, or theft.

Aftercare

CLEANING AND CARE

Billingham bags are designed to grow old gracefully! Professional photographers usually prefer a well-worn, battle-scarred Billingham to a new clean version; however, you may wish to reduce the grime level on your Billingham so here are a few tips:

• Remove any padded inserts, dividers and the base foam.
• DON'T put your Billingham into a washing machine; the detergent will almost certainly ruin the leather.
• DON'T dry clean your Billingham.
• Place the bag on a draining board and wash the bag with warm soapy water, using a nail brush on stubborn areas of dirt (don't submerge the bag in the water).
• Wash all soap away with clear water and allow to dry naturally (airing cupboard) or at least without too much heat. Excessive heat might affect the Stormblock waterproofing or the leather. Also, DON'T put the bag in a tumble dryer or equivalent device.
• When the bag is dry carefully apply leather dressing to the binding and leather areas. We recommend Mars oil or Nikwax. Try not to mark the canvas when you are applying the dressing.

The canvas is tough, the dyestuff resistant and Billingham Stormblock waterproofing is incredible, but hard scrubbing might lighten the colour and excessive heat or exposure to acids (such as battery acid) might spoil the Stormblock so please go carefully!

PLEASE NOTE:

• When storing the bag, we would strongly recommend that you make sure the bag is dry first and is stored in a clean and dry place to prevent bad smells or mould developing. Storing it in a shed or garage is usually a bad idea.
• The cleaning instructions for removable padded inserts and dividers are the same as for the bags themselves above.
• We would especially recommend against petroleum-based shoe polishes for treating the leather as they can cause the leather to dry out over time.
