Billingham Eventer MKII Padded Insert - Chocolate
Removable, padded inserts for compatible Billingham bags to keep your camera gear protected. Already included when you purchase the bag.
PADDED ON ALL SIDES AND DIVIDERS INCLUDED: The Eventer MKII Divider Set is included with the padded insert. The divider set consists of 2x vertical large dividers and 2x small flap dividers. The vertical dividers can be used to split the space available into up to three columns. The flap dividers can be used to stack camera gear within those columns (the flap dividers only have Velcro® at one end). The dividers are, of course, removable and repositionable.
DESIGNED TO FIT THE EVENTER MKII: Specially designed to fit the Eventer MKII – but will also fit the previous Eventer. The insert is made of fabric covered closed-cell foam. It is padded on the front, back, sides and base. A dedicated laptop slip is sewn in to the back of this insert, capable of holding up to a 14" device - for example a 14" MacBook Pro (2021), 13" MacBook Pro/Air, Surface Pro 8, 13.5" Surface Laptop 3, 13.5" Surface Laptop 4, ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 (14") etc.
ATTACHES WITH PRESS STUDS: The insert attaches inside the Eventer/Eventer MKII bag with four press studs; two at the back and two at the front on the inside walls of the bag. This enables fast and easy removal.
INCLUDED ALREADY: This insert is included inside 'Mini Eventer MKII' bags when you purchase the bag. You only need to purchase this if you are looking for a spare or a replacement. A spare can be helpful if you would like to swap out different sets of camera gear more quickly.
FLEXIBLE: The padded insert is a little flexible to match the bag, especially front to back therefore it can fit items slightly larger than the dimensions suggest. Please note however as the Eventer MKII has a zip on the main compartment, this will restrict this bowing out somewhat. The Eventer MKII insert has slightly deeper padding on the base compared to the previous Eventer insert.
NOT JUST FOR BILLINGHAM: This padded insert was designed for our Billingham bags however many customers use them with other bags too and that's ok with us!

Billingham Bags come with a Manufacturer Warranty for a period of 5 Years from the date of purchase with the following terms and conditions.
- The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of the purchase and during the first 5 Years.
- The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty only comes into force if a proof of purchase is presented during the warranty period, you will have the right to have any manufacturing defect repaired free of charge.
- The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty is ONLY applicable to Billingham Bags purchased from Authorised Dealers within Australia.
- The Billingham Manufacturer Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or deterioration as well as scratches or breakages due to physical damage, water or fire damage, loss, or theft.

CLEANING AND CARE
Billingham bags are designed to grow old gracefully! Professional photographers usually prefer a well-worn, battle-scarred Billingham to a new clean version; however, you may wish to reduce the grime level on your Billingham so here are a few tips:
- Remove any padded inserts, dividers and the base foam.
- DON'T put your Billingham into a washing machine; the detergent will almost certainly ruin the leather.
- DON'T dry clean your Billingham.
- Place the bag on a draining board and wash the bag with warm soapy water, using a nail brush on stubborn areas of dirt (don't submerge the bag in the water).
- Wash all soap away with clear water and allow to dry naturally (airing cupboard) or at least without too much heat. Excessive heat might affect the Stormblock waterproofing or the leather. Also, DON'T put the bag in a tumble dryer or equivalent device.
- When the bag is dry carefully apply leather dressing to the binding and leather areas. We recommend Mars oil or Nikwax. Try not to mark the canvas when you are applying the dressing.
The canvas is tough, the dyestuff resistant and Billingham Stormblock waterproofing is incredible, but hard scrubbing might lighten the colour and excessive heat or exposure to acids (such as battery acid) might spoil the Stormblock so please go carefully!
PLEASE NOTE:
- When storing the bag, we would strongly recommend that you make sure the bag is dry first and is stored in a clean and dry place to prevent bad smells or mould developing. Storing it in a shed or garage is usually a bad idea.
- The cleaning instructions for removable padded inserts and dividers are the same as for the bags themselves above.
- We would especially recommend against petroleum-based shoe polishes for treating the leather as they can cause the leather to dry out over time.
